Where Turin Airport Is

Turin Airport, also known as Torino-Caselle Airport, uses the code TRN. It is about a 36-minute drive from Hotel Tourist, so it can work as a base for a Turin stay.

For the trip into the city, compare the airport train, two bus operators, taxis and car hire by where they drop you and how much detail you want to arrange ahead.

The airport’s train station is opposite the terminal’s Arrivals area. The public taxi rank is to the left as you leave Arrivals. Bus stops and services differ by operator, so check the arrival point before settling on a route.

Train Connections into Turin

Train Connections into Turin

Trenitalia runs the airport connection on the SFM4, SFM6 and SFM7 lines. Trains serve Turin stations including Lingotto, Porta Susa, Rebaudengo Fossata and Corso Grosseto; the journey to Porta Susa takes about 30 minutes, and the service runs seven days a week.

The airport train fare is €3.70 per passenger. You can buy tickets through Trenitalia’s website or app, at station ticket offices, from self-service machines or at points of sale. The connection also reaches Venaria Reale, about 15 minutes from the airport by train.

On weekdays, trains from Porta Susa to the airport run from 05:01 to 21:25, while airport trains toward Turin run from 06:00 to 22:28. For current schedules and fares, check the official site before you go: consult Trenitalia for trains and Arriva Italia and Flibco for buses.

Airport Bus Services

Airport Bus Services

Two operators provide airport buses, with different city stops and journey times. Compare the arrival point with your onward plans before choosing a service.

Arriva Italia

Arriva Italia’s buses take about 45–50 minutes and run every day of the year, with services every 15 or 30 minutes. The Turin departure point is Piazza Carlo Felice 39, in front of Porta Nuova station. The operator describes local runs with nine stops and express runs with three.

Listed fares are €7.50 one way, plus a €1.00 onboard surcharge, or €11 for a return ticket. A Caselle Family fare costs €23 for two adults and two children up to age 17.

Flibco

Flibco runs a direct bus every day of the year, with departures every 30 minutes. Its Turin bus-station stop is at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 131, opposite Palagiustizia; the listed journey time is 30 minutes.

At the airport, find the Flibco stop on the Arrivals level, to the right after exiting. Listed one-way fares start at €3.99 for online purchases and €6 for ground purchases. Tickets can be cancelled or rescheduled up to six hours before travel, and a ticket can be used on the next selected shuttle if a flight is delayed.

Taxis and Private Transfers

The public taxi rank sits to the left of the Arrivals exit. The airport quotes an approximate fare of €40 and a journey time of about 30 minutes to central Turin. You can also book through Taxi Torino at +39 011 5730 or +39 011 5737, or use the Free Now and WeTaxi apps.

If you prefer to arrange a ride through an app or by phone, confirm the pickup point and fare details when booking. The airport’s quoted fare and travel time are approximate.

Driving and Parking Considerations

Car-hire companies are on site at the airport, giving you the option to collect a vehicle after arrival. The airport information does not provide current rental prices or a specific driving route into Turin, so compare rental terms and plan your route with the provider before setting off.

Choosing a Route to the Hotel Area

For a rail journey, the airport connection serves Porta Susa and Lingotto, among other Turin stations. From either, you can look into onward connections for your final destination. If you are heading to Racconigi, the airport information confirms that an onward rail connection from Turin is possible, but does not specify an itinerary or transfer timetable.

Arriva Italia departs from Piazza Carlo Felice in front of Porta Nuova station, while Flibco uses a stop on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.

Taxis provide a direct ride toward central Turin, and car hire gives you a vehicle for the drive. To continue by local public transport after arriving in the city, see this guide to Turin’s metro and local transit.
